System Performance Workshop: $199

This advanced 4 hour workshop teaches HVAC technicians how to determine the actual operational capacity and efficiency of standard residential and light commercial equipment, including latent and sensible heat. The course covers safety considerations,  tool requirements, and includes both classroom and hands-on training. This workshop also requires at least one participant to provide a facility with an  air conditioning system to perform the analysis on. Minimum of 2 registrants required to make a class with a maximum of 5 participants.  

 

Critical Charging Technique Workshop: $199

This advanced 4 hour workshop teaches HVAC technicians how to properly charge a vapor compression air conditioning system including the determination of superheat and subcooling.  The course covers safety considerations, tool requirements, thermodynamic and psychrometric review and include both classroom and hands-on training. This workshop also requires at least one participant to provide a facility with an air conditioning system to perform the analysis on. Minimum of 2 registrants required to make a class with a maximum of 5 participants.   

   

Residential Energy Audit: $299

This service  includes a detailed investigation of your home’s building envelope and mechanical systems including a basic load calculation, duct inspection and evaluation, and an HVAC system performance analysis. The field work takes approximately 3-4 hours and you will receive a detailed written report with efficiency improvement recommendations several days after the field inspection.
